Ian Kruger

Compliance Officer 

With over 40 years of experience in the Vocational Education and Training (VET) sector, I have made significant contributions in both the private sector and at TAFE Queensland. Throughout my career, I have worked across various roles, including management and teaching in the Indigenous Faculty at TAFE, where I was deeply involved in delivering training and assessment qualifications from the BSZ to the current TAE40116.

I have successfully established and managed four Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) over the past 20 years, overseeing compliance and operations with a keen focus on quality. My expertise includes navigating and leading through four audits, the most recent by ASQA, which resulted in my RTO securing a prestigious 7-year audit cycle.

Since joining ETG in 2017 as RTO Manager, I have had the privilege of working with a dedicated team of professionals, ensuring the highest standards of compliance and fostering an environment of excellence within the VET sector.

Silvia Flueck

  • 21 years of hands-on experience as a driver trainer, with a proven track record of enhancing driver capabilities across various sectors, focusing on safety, skill development, and regulatory adherence.
  • 22 years as an independent professional driver, specializing in vehicle testing and product launch events for leading manufacturers. Expertise in handling a wide range of vehicles, from prototype models to the latest releases, ensuring precision and performance during testing.
  • Contracted by top vehicle manufacturers to provide expert services in vehicle testing, contributing to the development and validation of new models. Played a key role in the evaluation of vehicle safety features, performance metrics, and market readiness.
  • Fleet consultant for major clients, offering strategic advice on fleet management, driver behavior, and cost-effective operational solutions. Delivered customized recommendations that led to significant cost savings and efficiency improvements for fleet operations.

Shaun Seymour

The 15 years of working throughout Cape York, Gulf and Torres Strait has provided Shaun Seymour with many and varied opportunities for successful remote area community development. SOB can arrange training through a accredited RTO, qualifications include AHC30421 Certificate III in Conservation and Ecosystem Management, Licences for boats, firearms and vehicles. Experienced in aerial feral animal control. Shaun is fully CASA and Nationally Accredited in all firearms and feral animal Certificates.

Belinda Kenney

After 15 years of dedicated service in the mining industry, Belinda returned home to Townsville and joined the team at Advanced Driver Training Centre. She excelled in a supervisory role, demonstrating exceptional leadership and a steadfast commitment to safety.

One of Belinda’s passions is promoting safe driving practices. She believes that safety on and off the road is paramount, and she has tirelessly advocated for this throughout her career. Her dedication to fostering a culture of safety is evident in her proactive approach to training.

With a wealth of experience under her belt, Belinda is eager to share her knowledge and skills. Her extensive background in mining and motorsport has equipped her with a unique perspective and a deep understanding of industry best practices. She is committed to empowering others by imparting the insights she has gained over the years.

Her passion in her role not only showcases her diverse interests but also highlights her competitive spirit and drive for excellence.

Dr Kerry Beggs

Dr Kerry Beggs, has more than 25 years’ experience in the environment sector, and has a background in Australian terrestrial and freshwater ecology, environmental management, land management (weeds, fire, ferals) and education.

Kerry has project managed comprehensive land management works across large sites in North Queensland since 2011, including the survey and control of weeds across Defence training areas in North Queensland. She has worked in various environments where stringent biosecurity requirements were in force, such as quarantined zones on Defence sites and Wet Tropics World Heritage areas. An accomplished science communicator and educator, Kerry has a substantial publication record, is an award-winning presenter, has several years’ teaching experience in tertiary institutions, and holds a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
