1on1 Recreational Four Wheel drive course

Develop professional driving skills and safety expertise through hands-on training delivered by industry specialists.

This 4×4 course is designed for private individuals who want to learn to competently drive their four-wheel drive vehicle in a range of terrains. Suitable for either complete beginners, or drivers with some experience who want to take their skills to the next level.

This course consists of an information session followed by a practical session in your 4WD vehicle. The following subjects will be covered:

Vehicle capability identification
Vehicle preparation
Trip Planning

Off Road Driver Training

For this session you will be driving your 4WD vehicle:

Hazard identification, risk management
Off road driving techniques
sand driving techniques
Obstacle identification
Identify techniques to negotiate obstacles
Vehicle placement in rough terrain
Recovery techniques
