Towing a caravan/trailer can be a difficult task for the inexperienced individual. Our practical course will help you leave with the skills, knowledge and confidence to safely tow a caravan/trailer.

This course is suitable for all new to towing or individuals who wish to refresh their skills.

Advanced Driver Training Centre will provide you with practical training and information to help you keep safe on the road.

Acquire the knowledge necessary to satisfy legal obligations of towing a caravan/trailer
Understanding new vehicle safety systems and how it performs under towing situations
Understanding safe towing weights
Acquire the knowledge and skills required to tow a caravan/trailer on the road safely
Confidently hitch and unhitch a caravan/trailer and manoeuvre to site
Perform basic safety checks
Identifying driving hazards using appropriate defensive driving techniques
Understanding the system of vehicle control
Manoeuvre in confined spaces, reverse and park a caravan/trailer
Responsibly share the road with other road users
